The best Garlic knots and sweet Tea I ever had. The garlic knots were so good I got a dozen for a to-go order before leaving. The sweet Tea actually had flavor, not just some sweet brown water. Pizza and calzone were also very good.

Ordered a pizza for pickup. They forgot to add the pepperoni and sausage. But I had ordered it well done. The owner added my toppings and put it back into the oven. Despite the mistake, my pizza was delicious. The outer crust was perfectly toasty and cracker-like. Had a pleasant but brief conversation with the owner. Can't wait to go back and dine-in. Gotta remember to ask for a side of marinara to dip my ends in.
I heard of Positano a long time ago and was waiting for my trip to go. I tell you, my friends and I just talked about ordering extra next time because it was so good. I had a gluten-free crust; I loved the crispiness, and the tomato sauce was perfect—not acidic or heavy. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza with a regular crust, and she loved it too. We ordered a cannoli and a cheesecake; the cannoli was delicious, but the cheesecake—OMG! I ordered one to go. The best thing was the service; they were super nice, and the coffee was an extra plus. This was our first time at Positano’s. We usually go to a different pizza place in Deland and they were closed today. We are SO glad that this happened because we have found a new favorite. The pizzas were so authentic - they fold as you eat them as they should. The pastas are homemade and the sauce tastes fresh and delicious. Definitely get the fresh bread - it was so good we got another order to go. We ate too much for dinner - so we didn’t have room for dessert - but we will next time! We will definitely be back each time we come through town!
Hailey our waitress is a gem! She was so attentive and sweet, we even watched her help an older woman outside and give her water during this heat wave. They even allowed us to eat inside with our puppy to cool off and brought her a bowl of cold water. The service was above and beyond and the food was sooo delicious! We could smell the freshly baked pizzas down the block!! For three of us and drinks it was an affordable 40. I highly recommend this place and it will forever be on my favorites list when visiting this historic downtown strip! THANK YOU Positano for keeping us cool and fed today !!!!
The food is on point. Love the pizza. Fresh authentic ingredients makes there pizza delicious! Me my wife an 1 year old love coming to this place. Pasta is delicious to. Shrimp Alfredo could use some more shrimp but man is it delicious. Staff is super nice an friendly an kid friendly. They'll make your kid laugh an smile. Lil pricey but worth every penny to me. Quality place to eat! Try it you'll love it!
Had an awesome dinner with awesome service Thursday (12/7). Everyone keeps recommending their Pizza but we still ended up enjoying a few pasta dishes. I will say though, if the Pizza dough is anything like their Bread or Garlic rolls I'm sure that it's worth it. Pictured is the Carbanara Spaghetti, Flounder over Linguine Special and Garlic Knots. Everything was outstanding and loads of flavor. The Flounder was excellent and extremely tender. Will definitely be back!
